Mo Folkes-Miller - pictured in her studio, has been involved with all things artistic since school age and is passionately enthusiastic about art in all its forms.
Mo was born in Burgh Castle, Norfolk. She trained as a teacher specializing in art at Loughborough, Leicestershire in the 1960’s and has lived in Gibraltar, Spain, France, London and Suffolk.
Mo’s paintings are lively, colourful and atmospheric with strong shapes and depth of feeling. Her work is extremely varied, encompassing a wide variety of subjects. She favours a loose, expressionistic way of working, inter-mixed with traditional methods. Her paintings range from representational to pure abstract.
